CALDER has expanded its reach to the nation’s capitol. The new partnership between the Center and the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent (DC/OSSE) will allow researchers to take advantage of a new wealth of data about the DC public school system, including the District's proliferating charter schools. 

CALDER will work collaboratively with DC/OSSE staff to encourage a shared education research agenda among DC officials and the wider education policy community and to fully understand the nature of the data as well as the implications of research findings for policy and practice.
